How much does Reiki cost?
Each session will be charged at £50, this can be made payable by cash at the time of your booking or by card before your session. Card payments cannot be taken in person.
How long is a session?
The Reiki healing takes approximatley 50 minutes with a little time after to reflect on how you are feeling. The first session always takes a little longer.

What should I expect?
At the beginning of the first session I will collect a little information from you, including if you have anything specifically you want to work on or areas of concern you have.

Then we will get you comfortable on a treatment couch which can be adjusted to lie flat or with the head raised as high as you need. There will be plenty of blankets so no fear of becoming cold.

During the treatment I play different frequency music to assist with the healing process and also to increase relaxation. If this is not something you enjoy, then the session can be completed in silence.

What should I wear?
It is important that you are comfortable during your session therefore it is recommended that you wear something loose like joggers and a T-shirt.

What does Reiki feel like?
Some people describe feeling temperature changes, warm or cool sensations, tingling and/or pressure. Some people report feelings of extreme calm and peace and seeing bright colours. Some people will feel nothing at all but this doesn't mean the Reiki energy isn't working.
Do I have to do anything afterwards?
Reiki healing helps the body to remove any energy that no longer serves purpose. You may find you are more thirsty or need to go to the toilet more after a session. Try to rest as much as possible over the next few days.

It is advisable to eat healthily and avoid alcohol for at least 48 hours after a session but this is totally your decision. Be guided by your body.
Does Reiki replace the need for modern medicine?
Reiki is effective in helping virtually every known illness because it works in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery, however, It is not a standalone treatment to replace modern medicine or therapies.

There is so much research now into how much Reiki does compliment modern medicine but if you are concerned, then always talk to your doctor first.
Is Reiki a religion?
While Reiki is not a religion, Mikao Usui, the founder of the Reiki system of natural healing, recommended that one practices certain simple ethical ideals to promote peace and harmony, which are nearly universal across all cultures and beliefs.
